Project management

This page is used for managing user projects. The following actions are available:

When a project action is selected, the page automatically reloads to present additional options or selections.

Create a new project

At least one project has to be defined. This page is presented at the first usage of SPENVIS for new users. The maximum number of projects is limited.

Advanced users can request to have their project number increased.

A project is fully defined by specifying the entries below:

This project title and abstract can be modified at any time by clicking on the project name in the menu bar at the top of each model page.

Switch to another project

If more than one project exists, the user can select an active project from the list of available projects. This action will not delete existing projects, which remain available for selection at any time using the project link in the menu bar at the top of each model page.

Delete projects

The number of projects allocated to a user is limited. Once the maximum number of projects has been reached, no new projects can be created without deleting existing project(s).

Multiple selections of project to delete are allowed. If all existing projects are deleted, the project creation page wil be presented.

ZIP and download projects

All project information and output files can be downloaded as zip files. Multiple projects can be selected for compression, each project will be available in a separate file. A list of links to the zipped projects is presented on a separate page.

Change current project settings

The title and abstract text of the current project can be modified at any time by clicking on the project name in the menu bar at the top of each model page. The new project title will only be reflected in the model outputs for model runs executed after the project settings have been changed.

Delete current project results

All output files obtained for the current project can be deleted without affecting the input parameters defined by the user. This action is recommended for inactive or sensitive projects to limit storage space or to protect proprietary information or results.
